Solidarity Ecologies:
Regenerative Organizing, Solidarity Practices, and Community Resilience Amidst Social and Climate Shocks
Global conference

November 2025
What does it mean to need each other?
Going beyond established academic definitions of resilience and vulnerability, what happens if we trace lineages of care and solidarity observed in parallel across social groups -- from schools of fish to mychorrizal networks to barangay groups to activism collectives in Antique, Bataan and Negros -- and utilize their collective wisdom as confirmation of organizing and interdependence as part of all living species DNA? This lecture presented intergenerational and mutual aid as foundational to our collective survival.
Hope is not accidental or a by-product of good fortune but an intentional enduring of a world in peril, a solidarity practice critical to life itself.
